Every way to pay
Customers pay invoices by UPI, cards, netbanking or wallets on HDFC’s secure page.
HDFC SmartGateway Integration
Connect your HDFC Bank SmartGateway merchant account — customers pay invoices by UPI, cards, netbanking or wallets on HDFC’s hosted page, confirmed with HDFC before they settle.
01Connect
The Merchant ID comes from HDFC Bank; create the API Key in the SmartGateway dashboard → Payments → Settings → Security → API Keys. In the app, open Modules → Integrations → HDFC, enter them with your webhook username and password, and click Connect.
A new production account is capped at 200 payments a day of up to ₹10 each until HDFC’s QA sign-off. Customers need an email address and mobile number on file.
02Webhook setup
HDFC makes the webhook mandatory. In the SmartGateway dashboard → Payments → Settings → Webhook, paste the Webhook URL shown in the app, choose a username and password, and enter the same pair in Speedo One — webhooks without this pair are rejected.

When a customer pays an invoice, they’re taken to HDFC’s own secure payment page — UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets in one flow. The money lands in your own HDFC SmartGateway merchant account.
04Verified with HDFC
The return redirect is never trusted — every payment is confirmed with HDFC’s Order Status API (order and amount) before the invoice is settled, and posted to accounting once. Update or disconnect the gateway any time — recorded payments are kept.
